I have Windows 10 Pro running my computer and would like to completely get rid of Edge. I don't use it and don't plan on ever using it so it's basically just a nuisance to me. Any help would be appreciated.

As far as I know, it isn't possible to get rid of Edge completely. However, you can install some other web browser and set it as the system default.

I could not agree with you more on this point. I am primarily a Linux User, but for my gaming and Windows based application development, I have no choice but to use Windows for these, but I can primarily develop some applications on Linux.
My wife uses Outlook for her email.
... even though her default browser is Chrome, Edge will open and take her to the link.
