Edge suddenly stopped completing downloading PDFs after update yesterday. Cant uninstall. All files remain as "Unconfirmed XXXXX.crdownload". Tried all usual fixes, AV, clear history, turn off all extensions, repair/reinstall, different folder, etc. Chrome and all other browsers save just fine! Saving as webpages works fine too, just save as PDF does not.

Thank you for the Microsoft Print workaround! I've wasted so much time trying to figure out why I could suddenly no longer complete the simple and extremely necessary task of saving PDFs.

I am having the same issue of receiving "Unconfirmed XXXXX.crdownload" files and am unable to print to .pdf directly the WEB, but found that when selecting print, in the print drop down menu go to "Microsoft print to pdf" and enter Save, it appears to work, I tried it a few times and works. I am not sure about format integrity compared to just printing to .pdf. However, I agree that since a "certain" MS recent update - not sure which one, we can no longer print an email directly to .pdf I notice that it must be recent because all the comments on this community forum it appears to be within the last 2 weeks. I am printing to .pdf from Yahoo Mail and Gmail using MS WIN 11 and EDGE - Henry G
I just updated my Edge today and the problem is fixed

For those who tried updating Edge through Windows Update, it does not work. What you have to do is the following:
If an update is available, it will automatically start downloading it and you'll be prompted to restart Edge to apply the update.
As of today, I updated Edge on all my machines through this procedure, and all of them downloaded an update that fixed the problem.

For those who tried updating Edge through Windows Update, it does not work. What you have to do is the following:
- Start Edge
- Open the ellipsis menu in the upper right corner
- Go to Help and feedback > About Microsoft Edge
If an update is available, it will automatically start downloading it and you'll be prompted to restart Edge to apply the update.
As of today, I updated Edge on all my machines through this procedure, and all of them downloaded an update that fixed the problem.
