Edge downloads not completing after update

Edge suddenly stopped completing downloading PDFs after update yesterday. Cant uninstall. All files remain as "Unconfirmed XXXXX.crdownload". Tried all usual fixes, AV, clear history, turn off all extensions, repair/reinstall, different folder, etc. Chrome and all other browsers save just fine! Saving as webpages works fine too, just save as PDF does not.

    Same issue for at least 2 dozen people at my org. The PDF saves when you print to PDF and slowly goes up in size. This is wild.

    Having some users with the same issue as OP.

    1. Does not remedy issue
    2. Does not remedy issue
    3. Considered this one but its only occurring in Edge browser, Chrome & Firefox are unaffected
    4. Does not remedy issue

    6. Does not remedy issue
    7. Does not remedy issue
    8. Does not remedy issue
    9. Does not remedy issue
    10. This shouldn't have to be a solution or work around.

    Print to PDF does work but ideally need the functionality of Save to PDF so we can get the original document. Monitoring post to see if anyone comes up with a solution.

    We are experiencing the same issue in our organization with multiple users. Save as PDF never finishes downloading but Print to PDF works just fine. We would like to continue using Save as PDF because it automatically names the downloaded files, where Print to PDF does not.

    Same here, all my users that have to save to pdf is having issues and to the point they cannot download any files. Users have to restart the computer in order to download other files again. I am advising the company to not save to pdf at this time until I can get this latest update uninstalled from our network.
