Edge downloads not completing after update

Edge suddenly stopped completing downloading PDFs after update yesterday. Cant uninstall. All files remain as "Unconfirmed XXXXX.crdownload". Tried all usual fixes, AV, clear history, turn off all extensions, repair/reinstall, different folder, etc. Chrome and all other browsers save just fine! Saving as webpages works fine too, just save as PDF does not.

    Experiencing the same issue as others have noted since the most recent update to MS Edge. Save as PDF just hangs in the Downloads. Print to PDF still works, but you have to name your file. Print, Save as PDF still works in other browsers, so the issue is in the December 2023 update to MS Edge. I even turned on "Download PDF" in settings but Edge still does not "Save as PDF."

    Same problem here. However, the "Microsoft Print to PDF" is not an ideal workaround for me as the resulting PDF is an image and is not "selectable" like the "Save as PDF" is. Moreover, all the hyperlinks are non functioning.

    After playing around a bit, I did manage to get my PDF finally. What I did is copy the file "Unconfirmed xxx.crdownload" to "Unconfirmed xxx - Copy.crdownload". Then, I renamed it to myfile.pdf and the file was complete and I was able to open it. However, I did notice that the images were missing and replaced with the following:

    I'm taking an IT course and I've been saving a lot of documents as PDFs. After the update, I could no longer

    save them, as they would stop during the download process, However, the print>microsoft print to pdf workaround

    did work for me. Thank you.

    Having the same issue as well. Went through many hours of troubleshooting, this seems to be isolated to "Save as PDF" in edge." As others have said, print to PDF works, but it does not even show the files in the downloads. Patiently waiting for a fix or any sort of response. :)
