Edge suddenly stopped completing downloading PDFs after update yesterday. Cant uninstall. All files remain as "Unconfirmed XXXXX.crdownload". Tried all usual fixes, AV, clear history, turn off all extensions, repair/reinstall, different folder, etc. Chrome and all other browsers save just fine! Saving as webpages works fine too, just save as PDF does not.

I have the same problem since two days and tried already all proposed fixes without success so far. Interestingly I can open the CR downlad files only, if they are attached to an MS Outlook E-Mail not as such.
Multiple people of my organization is also facing the same issue.

The size increases dramaticaly because the generated PDF is actually an image of the page as evidenced by the fact that the text is non-selectable in the PDF unless your PDF application can perform OCR on it.
I have a user with the same issue. But,.....it is also happening in Chrome, and also only with certain websites. Laptop manufacturers site is fine (Lenovo), but HMRC site is not.
The user is a finance worker and predominantly uses the HMRC site.
I have a workaround if printing to PDF, but even had to fudge that by clicking the, Print using system dialogue (Ctrl+Shift+P) link.
