Edge will not close - any help please?

Ok - This morning I opened Edge (w10) and when I clicked the X to close, it would not close. I tried to minimise and click close, still would not work. I can only close it via task manager or rebooting. Nothing has chnaged since last night, so no idea why it has happened. Is there a simple answer as in apps both uninstall and modify are grayed out.

The PC is mine, not a work one and is W10.

PS - Just tried with my w10 laptop, am able to close edge as normal. So have no idea why the desktop is playing up. Is there a solution?

    Only started happening today for me so must be related to a MS update.

    Larry's solution (Graphics Acceleration off, restart app and turn back on again) worked - thankyou!

    At first, Larry's solve didn't work for me either, until I turned the graphics accelerator on again.

    So do Larry's solve, close edge, turn on the settings again and reboot edge. That solved it for me.
