Ok - This morning I opened Edge (w10) and when I clicked the X to close, it would not close. I tried to minimise and click close, still would not work. I can only close it via task manager or rebooting. Nothing has chnaged since last night, so no idea why it has happened. Is there a simple answer as in apps both uninstall and modify are grayed out.
The PC is mine, not a work one and is W10.

PS - Just tried with my w10 laptop, am able to close edge as normal. So have no idea why the desktop is playing up. Is there a solution?

2025-05-20T21:15:23+00:00 I am seeing something similar. At the same time, my outlook is now broken. It will not keep its connection to my IMAP server. Both of these problems happened at the same time, right after the last windows 10 update.
