Status Access Violation issues

Hello, i am getting Status_Access_Violation while watching youtube, twitch and browsing other sites on windows 11.

I reinstalled windows multiple times, reinstalled edge and chrome, cleared and reset browsers, deleted all cookies/history, reset flags, deleted all extensions, up to date on browsers, changed browser name extensions, text cursor indicator is off, did sfc /scannow, disabled hardware acceleration, happens with non updated drivers and updated drivers

    I'm pretty sure this is an Intel issue and not a Microsoft issue. Everyone who has fixed it has done so by replacing the CPU.

    Yes, agreed - was just replying to others who implied it was only Windows 11.

    Note that a CPU swap is not the only solution.

    My fix using Lasso has been rock solid for 2 months now. Have never had another issue.

    This backs up that it's the CPU too.

    I have been getting this "Status Access Violation" issues on Chrome since 4 days ago! I tried all suggested methods to resolve the issue but failed. There are several things I noticed:

    • Weirdly...this issue would only appear when I am using Chrome "normal mode". The error message only appears on some websites....(e.g. YouTube is fine, but a supermarket website is not)
    • If I am using Chrome "incognito mode", NO ISSUES at all!
    • I CANNOT duplicate this issue on other browsers (e.g. Edge).

    Based on my observation, I don't think it's related to GPU/CPU/Microsoft...but Chrome?

    BUT WHY ALL IN A SUDDEN this happens to me? I want a solution :(

    P.S. Even just for me to reply to this thread, I had to open it in "incognito" mode. Otherwise, the error message would appear and prevent me from doing anything.

    In my case, it's Edge and Chrome. Incognito/in private doesn't appear to make a difference.

    Earlier someone was saying it is occuring on their Ryzen 5 5600X, so it's not specific to Intel.
