Hello, i am getting Status_Access_Violation while watching youtube, twitch and browsing other sites on windows 11.
I reinstalled windows multiple times, reinstalled edge and chrome, cleared and reset browsers, deleted all cookies/history, reset flags, deleted all extensions, up to date on browsers, changed browser name extensions, text cursor indicator is off, did sfc /scannow, disabled hardware acceleration, happens with non updated drivers and updated drivers

There is another solution. Just install Process Lasso and disable the first 6 cores of your cpu for every process you can. Because it doesn't stop with the browser it gets worse after a while and just starts crashing on anything. Since I installed Process Lasso and disabled the cores the problem went away.
According to Dell's tech support department the issue is hardware related.
Specifically the i9 processor.
Apparently intel made an update last year that is causing these issues and supposedly several PC companies have been working with them on a fix. But, nothing yet.
So, according to DELL all they can do is replace my CPU which they are doing and calling it defective under the terms of my warranty.
It's backordered of course (due to this issue) so I won't get it for a couple weeks. I'll try to let you guys know what happens and if it continues. But, right now I can't stay in a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc) for more than 10-20 minutes without getting the access_violation error and I've reinstalled windows and everything else everyone else has tried.
I thought you'd like to know this is apparently the solution so I hope you're still within your warranty periods.
According to Dell tech support the issue is the i9 processors. I have the 13900KF and it's supposedly the cause... I get this error CONSTANTLY... I get freezing video feeds on things like apple TV+ on my PC, iTunes and crashes CONSTANTLY on Edge, Chrome, etc. I've reinstalled windows, etc.
They said apparently Intel knew about this last September and hasn't been able to find a fix.
I hope this helps folks. My CPU arrives in a couple weeks (they are backordered for this very reason) and I'll try to remember to come back and let you know what happens.

Back in November 2024 I thought the issue was fixed after I reset the BIOS, but the issue started happening again, and I just tried the Processs Lasso solution you just posted. I am gonna keep an eye on the PC and see if this fixs it.
My i5 9th gen has only 6 cores, I deselect 3 of them, and I hope this finally solves this problem.
