Opening and reading PDF files in Microsoft Edge on Windows 11

I have a problem with printing from the latest version of Microsoft Edge. When I select some text on the browser and choose Print → 'Save As Pdf', the download starts but never finishes. How can I fix this? Is this a common issue for all the users of the latest version of Edge?
I have tried restating the PC, Resetting the browser, stopping all the extension etc. to fix it. but it doesn't work? Should I switch to Chrome?

I tried this but it kept saying it couldn't because it was open in Edge, even when it wasn't.
I am having the same issue!

Honestly I'm surprised. This thread was started on 11/18, then I found it and replied on 11/29. But it wasn't really until 12/7 when it really started picking up steam. But it looks like I've got Edge set to the beta channel so some of us got the "bug" earlier than the public. I've now got "121.0.2277.4 (Official build) stable app, beta channel (64-bit)" and the problem is resolved.
You must be on a beta channel as both my Win 10 & 11 shows 120.0.2210.77 (Official build) (64-bit) as of now.

Mitchell - MSFT (Microsoft Agent | Moderator) clearly didn't understand and research what Shaon Singha presented above - it 'never finishes'.
You plainly presented this new 'Save as PDF' program BUG and you gave us Microsoft Edge browser users a workaround that will suffice until Microsoft recognizes this as a BUG.
I get the message 'File in Use' 'because the file is open in Microsoft Edge' when I try to delete 'Unconfirmed 524799.crdownload'.
I get the message 'Your file is still downloading' when I close Microsoft Edge.
Only when I close Microsoft Edge can the 'Unconfirmed 524799.crdownload' file be deleted.
I feel Microsoft should compensate you in some way for your workaround to this new 'Save as PDF' BUG.
The extra workaround time and telling the user this is not a new BUG is unacceptable.
FIVE STARS for you, Jeremy C. Radwan.
Well, if you had followed the ENTIRE THREAD, you would have seen the problem was correct on the 14'th or 15'th if you forced an update to EDGE.
