Why 'Save as Pdf' is not working properly on Edge browser?

I have a problem with printing from the latest version of Microsoft Edge. When I select some text on the browser and choose Print → 'Save As Pdf', the download starts but never finishes. How can I fix this? Is this a common issue for all the users of the latest version of Edge?
I have tried restating the PC, Resetting the browser, stopping all the extension etc. to fix it. but it doesn't work? Should I switch to Chrome?

2023-12-09T15:04:39+00:00 I worked this out myself. We have multiple devices with this issue in last week. Thankfully this workaround does work at present. We need this for saving customer designs from the software we use to design kitchens

2023-12-09T13:18:46+00:00 I have the same problem after being forced to accept the Microsoft Edge update on 9 December. Why is Microsoft still forcing this download on users over a week after the BUG was reported. As noted above, it's time to switch to another browser.

2023-12-09T09:31:47+00:00 I am on exactly the same build as Jason_45 and I have exactly the same problem. This is obviously a bug introduce by the recent update (because I use this intensively and can spot the correlation). It is really surprising that such a sophisticated software company introduces such basic bugs in a major piece of its portfolio. I will rather move to Chrome than spending any time in testing, reinstalling, etc. Edge.

2023-12-08T16:15:14+00:00 A temporary workaround at this time is to select "Microsoft Print to PDF" from the print menu rather than "Save as PDF" and otherwise save as normal. Hoping for a quick resolution from Microsoft.
