I have a problem with printing from the latest version of Microsoft Edge. When I select some text on the browser and choose Print → 'Save As Pdf', the download starts but never finishes. How can I fix this? Is this a common issue for all the users of the latest version of Edge?
I have tried restating the PC, Resetting the browser, stopping all the extension etc. to fix it. but it doesn't work? Should I switch to Chrome?

"Microsoft Print to PDF" as a workaround solution isnt ideal at all. It changes the format and changes the filename
That isn't part of my issue. Only the "Save As PDF" in the print dropdown for Edge (But see my previous post that it works in Edge Canary!
I have found a fix/workaround in copying and renaming the CRDOWNLOAD file from xxx.crdownload to xxx.pdf. This seems to work and keeps it searchable.
Similar issue here. I use Microsoft Print to PDF from Edge browser about 50+times daily, so this is a very big issue for me. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the PDF printer, which didnt work either. Print to PDF shows 100%, Whn selected in Edge, it just shows "will open when download complete" but it never finishes. Files also only show up as "Unconfirmed Download" in my folders.
I need this sorted asap, since I am unable to complete my daily tasks without this function - i am currently making screenshots.
Has anybody noticed similar behaviour when downloading PDF files aswell?
They download to 100% but never finishes, leaves a temp file in the downloads folder.
I have come across that in the past. However in my case that was happening only with PDF downloads from a handful of sites and not at the same time, so my thought was (and is) that the problem was with those sites. They fixed the problem, whatever it was, since then.
