I have a problem with printing from the latest version of Microsoft Edge. When I select some text on the browser and choose Print → 'Save As Pdf', the download starts but never finishes. How can I fix this? Is this a common issue for all the users of the latest version of Edge?
I have tried restating the PC, Resetting the browser, stopping all the extension etc. to fix it. but it doesn't work? Should I switch to Chrome?

It's a bug same problem here on Mac Sonoma 14.4.1 with Edge Version 123.0.2420.81. The question is do I want to ditch Edge and use Chrome or switch to Windows 11 for it's awesome Ads display? Umm tough one...
I have Edge Version 124.0.2478.67 (Official build) (64-bit) installed. There are no updates available. Since the last update, Edge crashes when saving a .pdf file, whether one saves by clicking on the "Save as" icon or "Microsoft Print to PDF" or "Save as PDF" in the print dialogue.
You would think that this bug would have been fixed by MS, given that users have been complaining about it for some years.
Same version of Edge but I have no problems. Perhaps you have some other corruption on your system. Suggest running DISM and SFC tools to check.
I no longer have the issue and I have been meaning to update my post. Despite numerous updates from Microsoft the problem persisted then one day it started working again. I switched to Chrome in the interim but now can use both again.

The answer is to update the Edge browser to the latest browser version....apparently your IT department aren't experts if they have not done so yet....
