I have a problem with printing from the latest version of Microsoft Edge. When I select some text on the browser and choose Print → 'Save As Pdf', the download starts but never finishes. How can I fix this? Is this a common issue for all the users of the latest version of Edge?
I have tried restating the PC, Resetting the browser, stopping all the extension etc. to fix it. but it doesn't work? Should I switch to Chrome?

We have the same problem. Our users started reporting since yesterday (12/11) morning. We're using WebView2 runtime (v120.0.2210.61 - the new recent update) to preview the pdf file and then print it.
Choosing "Save as PDF" in the print dialog shows the progress as complete, but the file is not fully converted to .pdf. Instead, it still has the temporary name with .crdownload extension.
The other workarounds - "Save as Microsoft Print PDF" & Renaming the file to .pdf are not acceptable to the users. They don't want to go through additional steps and just want the usual behavior of Save as PDF.
Could we get the fix from MS ASAP?
Thanks,
save as to PDF is issue is with latest version Microsoft Edge 120.0.2210.61. current fix is Role back to 119.0.2151.97
Since Canary is the most recent development version and it works in there, this suggests that Microsoft know about it and have fixed it. Unless they release a hotfix, it will take a little while for this to appear in the production release.
I've been able to install Chrome and it's working fine and not crashing like it used to and the "Save as Pdf" function
works very well.
Same problem here. Tried both "Save as PDF" and "Microsoft Print to PDF" and both generate a CRDOWNLOAD file that seems to download file, but never completes. I've used these same features many times before and never had a problem.
