I get the pop-up that says " iCloud encountered an error connecting to the server ". However, if I connect to a mobile hotspot, iCloud works without any issue on Edge! Observations I am able to access iCloud through my iOS device (iPhone) connected to the same high-speed broadband Wifi connection. iCloud.com is accessible on Edge browser only if my PC is connected to the internet via a mobile (4G/5G) hotspot connection. The issue does not occur at all on Firefox (irrespective of the connection mode)! Any clues on how to solve this issue? When did your problem start with accessing iCloud? It’s been about 7 days now.

I am now strongly suspicious of a recent Windows 10 update, either a Quality Update or a Security Intelligence update. I am going through my system's Update History log now to determine how far back to roll back my system in System Restore Points. Have you tried reviewing your Update History and considered rolling back to a possibly clean restore point?

This is strange! Following up on something you said in a early post, I find I cannot access iCloud.com using Chrome or Edge , but can with FireFox . What is unique about Firefox on a Windows 10 system that allows it to access iCloud.com but Edge and Chrome cannot?

Hey,

I'm just here to confirm that disabling IPv6 helped me resolve this issue.

Alternatively, switching to Google Public DNS also resolved the issue as per users on Reddit. To know step-by-step instruction to switch to Google Public DNS check out this guide -- <link removed>
