I get the pop-up that says " iCloud encountered an error connecting to the server ". However, if I connect to a mobile hotspot, iCloud works without any issue on Edge! Observations I am able to access iCloud through my iOS device (iPhone) connected to the same high-speed broadband Wifi connection. iCloud.com is accessible on Edge browser only if my PC is connected to the internet via a mobile (4G/5G) hotspot connection. The issue does not occur at all on Firefox (irrespective of the connection mode)! Any clues on how to solve this issue? Although switching off IPv6 worked for me on this problem, I then found facebook not connecting. I have now switch IPv6 back on and it all seems to be alright at the moment, so maybe switching it on and off works??

So why can I connect using Firefox on the same PC with the same old network card settings?

I have the same issue. Reinstalled Win 11 and it worked until the latest update took hold. I can connect with Firefox but not Edge! What’s Microsoft doing about this issue? Why should we have to change the way we connect to the internet?

Switching to Google Public DNS also resolved the issue for me. 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 I have Spectrum internet. This just started a few days ago. I don't know what changed

I'm just here to confirm that disabling IPv6 helped me resolve this issue.

Alternatively, switching to Google Public DNS also resolved the issue as per users on Reddit. To know step-by-step instruction to switch to Google Public DNS check out this guide -- <link removed>
