I get the pop-up that says " iCloud encountered an error connecting to the server ". However, if I connect to a mobile hotspot, iCloud works without any issue on Edge! Observations I am able to access iCloud through my iOS device (iPhone) connected to the same high-speed broadband Wifi connection. iCloud.com is accessible on Edge browser only if my PC is connected to the internet via a mobile (4G/5G) hotspot connection. The issue does not occur at all on Firefox (irrespective of the connection mode)! Any clues on how to solve this issue? Yes... disabling IPV6 in WiFi properties works!

I also re-insstalled Win 11 with a fresh install, reinstalled all my video and audio production software and tested everything. Worked great until the latest Edge and Microsoft updates came through. The, boom, no icloud connection through IPv6!! Come on Microsoft, this is definelty an issue with one of the latest updates, Figure it out!

I had this problem at the end of August and after Windows re-installation it got solved for 3/4 days. The problem comeback again, and icloud does not work with any browser, including Firefox. The message I've got from support by the 29th August was that the situation was unstable and that is confirmed. I can't believe Microsft can't solve this problem! I'm just here to confirm that disabling IPv6 helped me resolve this issue.

Alternatively, switching to Google Public DNS also resolved the issue as per users on Reddit. To know step-by-step instruction to switch to Google Public DNS check out this guide -- <link removed>
