That started suddenly
Activating the "collection" tab on Edge produce the following error in
"This content is blocked. Contact the site owner to fix the issue."
And on mobile (Edge for Android), "collection" buttons give that error:
"It's not you, it's us
Bing isn't available right now, but everything should be back to normal very soon."
This occurs only with my profile synced to my Microsoft account. Other profiles using other account work find on both devices
I would be Ok to completely erase my synced profile (but I don't know how to do that) but *not* my Microsoft account.

I was able to run Edge as Administrator and that brought back my collections. After closing the browser with elevated permissions I am able to access collections in my normal Edge browser.

Hey Dan Houghton!--that was a great suggestion!!! It worked for me, although I haven't tried opening Edge as normal.
While it was fantastic, it was a pretty obvious suggestion (once someone came up with it!) The question it raises is why the Microsoft engineers weren't able to provide it, at least as a stopgap solution! I guess they were too busy figuring out some other good feature in Win 10 they can remove in Win 11.
What was funny is that when I opened this webpage, Edge asked me if I wanted to change all my settings to those recommended by Microsoft! Something inside my computer has a wicked sense of humor!
Thanks so much for that suggestion. It worked for me, too, although it left some detritus in the collections. First, Edge said it needed to migrate my collections (whatever that means). It then put up a progress bar and promptly said the migration failed, try again later. But upon restarting Edge in non-administrator mode, all of my collections are there, as well as a bunch of additional collections folders with similar names but no content. (Similar means Collection A becomes Collection A(1)). I've deleted the (1) collections and everything seems back to normal.
