Original Message:
Already hit restore on windows' applications and restarted my pc, but every time I open Microsoft Edge now, on the top right corner it says my account is not logged in. And when I try to do it, the pop-up window says it's loading and then just turns to all white.
Anyone can help me please? Don't want to lose my favourites, passwords and workspaces ;_;
UPDATE 21 March:
And yes, I restarted my pc every time I tried something. What else can I do? I need to access my Edge Workspaces!
UPDATE 24th March:
UPDATE 25TH MARCH
UPDATE 10 APRIL:
Finally got a hold on https://support.microsoft.com/, initiated a live chat with support, and they had to install Install Quick Assist (Install Quick Assist - Microsoft Support) and they had to enter my PC and check what was wrong. They had no idea what was happening at the time (this all happened a few weeks ago - sorry for the late reply ut I had a lot of work delayed due to this error) and reinstalled Windows = issue solved.
The following day however, windows asked me to update again and the issue returned ahahahaha but I removed it, and then the following system updates didn't carry that sign in issue anymore.
Thank you all for your help and support during these VERY STRESSFUL DAYS! Hope the issue got solved for everyone!

However, the answer may be quite simple, hit the three dots to go to Settings, goto Profiles, scroll the screen to the bottom where you'll see "More Profiles", is the troublesome profile there? Was for me, Click on switch and your off and running. The problem being MS UEx team doesn't understand what users understand by a "sign in". I expect there are other difficulties having the same symptoms, but like the rat in the MS maze, if you click on enough boxes...
Also plagued with this issue, very frustrating; for the record, many issues like this go unresolved and the lack of transparency/empathy from MS is palpable; would just note, I've never ever had issues like these on my Linux machines which seamlessly update on a regular basis.
I am having the same issue. I am able to log in online at Microsoft.com to my account, but I keep getting logged out from Edge, OneDrive, and Office.
This is ridiculous. This problem has persisted for over 6 months and no amount of updates seems to resolve it. I have tried uninstalling Edge, OneDrive, and Office multiple times and after each instance the problem recurs after a few days.
The only possible thing I can think of that might be the source of weirdness with this account... it originally had a different email address as the primary account address, and we changed the login to a new email address when we lost access to that account.
Is that also the case for anyone else who is having this issue? (If so, it would be an absolutely brutal database oversight to fail to address this very common use case.)
This account is for my elderly father. All he wants to do is browse websites, look at his pictures, and use Word to write and organize his files. Why on earth would I recommend that he pay for an Office premium subscription if Microsoft can't fulfill this BASIC service?
