Hi Sean, I am John J.D., a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand you're having issues with the Copilot Edge Sidebar, specifically with the missing "More Creative" and "More Precise" conversation style options. I'm here to help you out.

There's no widespread report about the issue, but it's possible it hasn't been widely reported yet.

I already submitted feedback about the issue earlier today, and I recommend you do the same by clicking the menu icon (3 dots) at the top of the Copilot Edge Sidebar and selecting "Send feedback."

In the meantime, here’s a solution that worked for me "Reset Microsoft Edge":

> Open Microsoft Edge and press Alt + F keys, then click on "Settings."

> Click on "Reset settings" and then select "Restore settings to their default values."

> Click "Reset" and restart Microsoft Edge.

> Sign in you Microsoft account and check again the Copilot Edge Sidebar.

    Open Copilot on your phone, click menu on the top right hand side, select show all tones. Lets say you want to use "precise" then select it, just type in one topic... now go on to your PC then look up the discussion you just had on the phone copilot on "Recents", select it on PC then boom just like that you're now using "precise "

    I also have the same issue. I began to observe about it two weeks ago. But then, it was intermittent. Refreshing the webpage or clicking on the 'New Topic' button would usually bring back the 3 Conversation Style Options. For the past week though, it has just been the balanced style; sometimes the conversation style part of the user interface isn't even shown but you can tell that it's the balanced style by the blue highlight. - Recall that colour of Precise is a dark teal while creative is fuschia/dark pink.

    It's the same experience on the CoPilot website, MS Edge Side Bar, MS Edge on Android.

    Microsoft should please fix this because the balance conversation style sometimes states wrong/inaccurate information. For example, I asked it to list the specifications for the Intel Core i5-13600K and it listed the wrong specs. I then corrected it but by mistake listed the wrong specs and it also accepted it.

    Microsoft should PLEASE FIX THIS.

    Hello John,

    Thanks for your suggestion. It gave me an idea. Instead of resetting all of Edge's settings, I chose to delete some relevant cookies viz:

    1. All Co-Pilot Cookies
    2. All Bing Cookies
    3. All Microsoft Designer Cookies

    I then restarted Edge and it worked. I now have access to all 3 Conversation Styles both in the sidebar and on the CoPilot site. Thanks.
