Completely remove the accounts listed in the choose an account drop-down on Linux

(Sorry the drop-down on the forum does not have Linux as an option so I just chose Previous Windows Versions)

I want to remove the options listed as available accounts in edge show in the image below.

Things I have already tried.

  1. Uninstalling and reinstalling edge.
  2. deleted the directory listed as my default profile in

edge://profile-internals, which was /home/{username}/.config/microsoft-edge/Default All this did was create a new profile on next load with the same old accounts listed under Choose an account

  1. Reset all edge settings (edge://settings/resetProfileSettings)
  2. Settings > Profiles > Remove (it logs you out, but is still available as an option to login)

Where is this information stored and how can I remove it?

    I have now tried completely deleting the microsoft-edge directory in both ~/.config and ~/.cache and it still remembers these accounts, how???
