My organization provides Microsoft Copilot for our use and it has been working great for months. however on Friday for some reason it started giving me a 'Coming Soon' screen. I thought it was temporary and left it alone, restarted my computer and came back today (Monday) and it's still broken. Please help.

Update 10/22/2024, so I was doing some investigation and I managed to get in. Go to this website, Microsoft Copilot: Your AI companion. It should work there. I asked copilot and this is what he said "Oh, sounds like there might have been a little tech hiccup on my end. It happens sometimes! Now that we're connected, let's make the most of it. What’s on your mind?".

    I finally got mine fixed.

Had to reset Edge. It also happened in Chrome too and a reset worked there too. Basically, same reset instructions for Chrome too.

Here are the steps to reset Microsoft Edge:

    • Open Microsoft Edge.
    • Click on the three dots (menu icon) in the top right corner.
    • Select Settings.
    • In the left sidebar, click on Reset settings.
    • Click on Restore settings to their default values.
    • Confirm by clicking Reset.

This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies.

^This is what worked for me. If you want to try a deeper reset then this below:

However, your favorites, history, and saved passwords will not be deleted.

If you want to completely reset Edge, including clearing all your data:

    • Close Microsoft Edge.
    • Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
    • Type %localappdata%\Microsoft\Edge and press Enter.
    • Right-click the User Data folder and rename it (e.g., User Data_Old).
    • Reopen Microsoft Edge.

This will create a new User Data folder, effectively resetting Edge to its original state.

I have the same issue, the Edge side menu for Copilot works but when I click the icon to expand it into its own full size tab it takes me to the "coming soon" page. If I go to the URL it also says coming soon. Today I tried opening it in Chrome and it worked. It has been working in Edge until recently. I don't know how long it will work in Chrome but thankful it does today. I use it almost everyday!
