When I add text to a pdf in edge, suddenly it it adding a box around the text. It doesn't show up until I hit enter. It's super annoying and I'm sure I did something to turn it on but I can't figure out how to turn it off.

your a star thanks it worked
I'm assuming Microsoft ran an update to correct this problem (finally!) Using Edge, if you go into any documents that were affected and simply click on the textboxes the borders will disappear. New textboxes no longer have the borders.

This is not the case for me, but it makes me hopeful! Fingers crossed mine just hasn't updated yet.
UPDATE 3/12/25: Nevermind! It must have updated last night because the boxes disappeared. Yay!
