Right clicking on Edge, menu appears on different screen, same happens for context menu

I have three screens and using Windows 10. When I right click on the right part of my main screen, the context menu appears on the third screen. The same happens on the left side of my second screen. This also happens for all sub menu items. For example if I click the three dots and go to "Tools" which has a sub-menu, the sub-menu appears on the third screen. This is extremely frustrating. I noticed it after the latest update.

I have tried all the basics including restarting my PC etc. to no avail.

    Yay, fixed for me (for now)! I had to go from top-aligned to this

    (initially a far-bigger lowering of 1*, but then I moved upwards in microshifts until it broke again; this is as close to aligned as I can get it)*

    Note: This fix did not work for a co-worker, whose Teams right-clicks insist on appearing on his laptop. Well done, Microsoft!

    Agreed. The problem continues to plague me. I have 4 screens. running off a workstation laptop. The primary screen is not the laptop screen but running Edge Version 136.0.3240.64 (Official build) (64-bit) on the laptop screen, right clicking shows up everywhere but where you would expect. It was all working fine until a Microsoft update sometime in January 2025. Microsoft needs to resolve this ASAP.

    This is working for me as well (for the time being at least). Thanks! This has been driving me insane on my work laptop for months, even after upgrading to Windows 11.

    The issue also happens in Chrome, which means it's an issue with the Chromium engine, not Edge itself. That's not necessarily Microsoft's issue to fix, it's Google's, but Microsoft contributes to the code base, so at the very least they should be assisting.

    Yep! Just tried this and it worked. One of my screens was at 125% and I didn't know.

    Problem is in the scale of the displays.

    If i put every screen on 100% the problem is gone...

    My Surface Pro is on 200%, my LG TV screen on 150% and my Samsung MX279 screen on 100%. These are the recommended values, and if I change them the quality or framing loses quality.

    It worked like this until recently, but the problem is linked to a bug.

    Spoke too soon. The 200% setting was on my Surface Pro which has such a high resolution that it is unreadable at 100%. Have to set it to at least 200% to read it. Now set for 225% for legibility and the menus are popping over there again (main screen is a 30" LG).
