MSN Weather E-tree level 10 now requires 50,000 points as compared to earlier of 10,000?

I noticed that my tree was not leveling up at the usual speed. Upon checking the "certificates" (shows the trees planted so far and the progress of the current one), I was astonished to find that goal was now 50000 points. My status: 6090/50000 Level 6 which otherwise would have been 6090/10000 Level 9.

I see no official communication from Microsoft about this. Although, the E-tree app on the Edge sidebar still behaves as earlier.

    I use the MSN weather app on an android phone.
    there seems to be a lot of errors with programming at the moment with the e-tree app on various platforms and operating systems.

    I downloaded MSN Weather but did not find the e-tree.

    I am still on my way to 50000 points, Ha.

    Same issue for me. It seemed to change from 10,000 points to 50,000 this week with no communication from MSN Weather.

    Happened to me after 49 trees.

    I have the same Issue from Switzerland/Germany that my 23rd surprisingly got up to 50'000 Points to fulfill instead of the 10'000.
    This is changeing the rules on running game wihout communication. I feel fooled about, so I will stop to send Microsoft any further Information about the current Weather conditions! And the Trees they can plant (or not? Just a marketing fake?) for themselves.
