How can I get Edge to restore all the tabs I had open last session?

I’ve never had pop-up windows appear behind In fact, I don’t get pop-up windows at all. I assume this is down to security settings? I don’t have any problems browsing with my settings so I’m not sure what setup other people have.

Great idea, genius. 8-(

What about if I DON'T KNOW there was another window opened, and only AFTER I CLOSE the main window do I notice there is another? Then, it is already TOO late, right?

If you cared to read my description, you'd notice that was exactly what happened. Because, I don't know why, EDGE opens pop up windows behind the main window. If those were opened in front, I would have close them immediately, and would have no problems.

Because the simple way is to minimise the one with all your tabs then close the ones you didn't open and finally the one with the tabs you want to keep that should prevent that. The one time this won't work is if the internet itself goes down leaving you high and dry if as I said Edge obeyed its own rules we wouldn't be so angry.

That's exactly what happened to me more than once. Sometimes I visit sites that open a popup window which stands hidden behind the main window, which is where I have all my tabs open.

If and when I close my main window, only then I realize there is another window behind. No solution. If I close that window, Edge/Microsoft considers THAT as my last session. Next time I open Edge, I have a single tab opened, with Home page, and I have all my tabs lost.

Going to History doesn't solve the problem entirely. Although I am able to open some of my tabs, there are tabs I have that I have not visited form more than two weeks. Those are completely lost. This behavior should be changed. A session should comprehend ALL windows opened (or else, have an option to save a configuration that has all tabs of a certain session).

Also, despite I have tabs grouped, I have no way to save groups. If I had that, at least I could restore my groups of tabs - that would solve most of the problem. I can save them in Workspaces, but then they disappear from my main session, and to access them I have to open the workspace in a new window. Seriously, who came up with this convoluted way?

Another con: Worksapce windows don't have the favorites. How dumb is this implementation...

I don't do them individually they're all in Collection/ I used to group them but for some reason Edge won't let you put the in Collections as a group.
