How can I get Edge to restore all the tabs I had open last session?

I've experienced a problem that causes me to lose ALL open tabs. This happened to me more than once.

Sometimes, Edge opens a window that remains hidden behind the main one (where I have ALL the tabs open). When I close Edge (by clicking the X on the right of the upper panel), I am confronted with that "parasite" windows, that was open. Result:

I close that window, but then ALL the session information is lost, because the last window closed is the "parasite" window. Next time I open Edge, I have just the Home tab open. Giong to History doesn't solve anything because most of the tabs were not touched for several sessions, and are not registered in History (which, OTOH, registers several tabs I opened and closed in the last session).

IMO, there should be an option to Restore Session (the same way we have when we shut down the computer with Edge open).

Yes, Nathan, has happened to me at least twice now. I've just lost 100 tabs AGAIN. I know I shouldn't have all these open but it's how I operate, unfortunately. Great for reference. However, I would like to know how to get back all tabs lost in one 'chunk' when on Edge for Android. If there's currently not a way to achieve this, PLEASE build it into a near future version!!!!!

FYI: Ctrl+Shift+T in Edge desktop has saved my bacon several times to restore clumps of lost tabs! Just in case you haven't tried that.

Apart from configuring it in Settings, you can also use the --restore-last-session command line parameter.

For example, set the Target in a shortcut to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" "--restore-last-session"

(I may have put this new question in the wrong place. This NOT a response to anything else.)

No offence intended, but Microsoft is keen to assure us, that Edge is at least as good as Chrome if not better. My experience is not consistent with that. Sometimes "wonderful" new features that the user does not actually want, can be a terrible nuisance.

In the last 24 hours - I opened a large number of tabs, in a single session of Edge (still continuing - because I just left the computer in "sleep" since then).

Then, when I tried to move one of the tabs across to the left end of the row (at the top of the screen) like I can in Chrome - I unexpectedly combined it with another tab, to form a "folder". Worse than that - all I could then see, in the Edge window (and this is still the case) is a couple of tabs that are now in this "group". The many other tabs that I have (or had) open, are nowhere to be seen. And then, after I tried clicking in the strange square, up at the top on the right (near the red X) I unexpectedly got a split screen. And I can't get back to a single screen (this is inside the Edge window). Most of all, of course, I want all my tabs restored.

Can you help, please? Alan
