The More Creative and More Precise Modes Disappeared on my Copilot Homepage.

While utilizing Copilot as usual to assist with daily coding tasks, the more creative and more precise modes disappeared suddenly after I refreshed Microsoft Edge. This issue also occurred with the Copilot button on my Windows. Both modes vanished, leaving me with only the balanced mode to generate responses each day. Unfortunately, I find this mode less comfortable for my coding needs.

I have attempted to restart the system, clear the Copilot website cache in Microsoft Edge, and double-check my Windows 11 file system, but the problem persists. I am now seeking guidance on how to resolve this issue and restore the missing modes.

Okay so that's a better chatbot for going quick questions with many new models, but is this an alternate chatbot of Microsoft Copilot; as Copilot continued removing or changing features each update sometimes, thus making it more worser and simpler than before to use. Now what should we do Daniel Henderson1?

Not sure what they're playing at, but I barely use Copilot - it's basically what I use when I have a simple question that I don't want to waste on my Claude and ChatGPT subscriptions.

Lmarena is also a good place to go for quick questions, or to do a battle and discover new models.

Omg, this is getting way more simpler than ever as Copilot removed several other features such as Notebook, which is used to iterate and refine their prompts in multiple turns; Compose in Microsoft Edge which provided a template for users to draft content in different tones, formats, and lengths; and Copilot Button in Microsoft Edge mobile application, the dedicated Copilot button in the Microsoft Edge mobile application. Now there's no way to tell the developer to re-add these features, but to use Copilot with probably limited features or decide to choose another better chatbot. What now guys?

Just sharing with everyone in this thread. It seems the tone selector has been (or maybe will be depending on region) discontinued:

“Features that will no longer be available:

    • Tone selector: Let users select one of a few preset tones for Copilot's response. Without tone selector, if a user wants Copilot to respond in a specific tone, they can specify the tone as part of their prompt.”
