The More Creative and More Precise Modes Disappeared on my Copilot Homepage.

While utilizing Copilot as usual to assist with daily coding tasks, the more creative and more precise modes disappeared suddenly after I refreshed Microsoft Edge. This issue also occurred with the Copilot button on my Windows. Both modes vanished, leaving me with only the balanced mode to generate responses each day. Unfortunately, I find this mode less comfortable for my coding needs.

I have attempted to restart the system, clear the Copilot website cache in Microsoft Edge, and double-check my Windows 11 file system, but the problem persists. I am now seeking guidance on how to resolve this issue and restore the missing modes.

    I had my region selected as Pakistan in the setting. I changed it to Usa and it worked. Try it. SIMPLE

    What I hate about this is that, basically, the AI acts like a ****, it doesn't listen to me, you can use old chats where you used precise mode and see how it's 400% more efficient.

    Hello everyone,

    I had the same problem with the Copilot modes (more creative and more precise were gone) after the last edge update ( past few days).

    I solved this problem following the steps explained here Bing isn't available right now - Microsoft Community, which are:

    • Settings->Cookies and site permissions
    • Put bing in the search box, expand the results and delete every cookie.

    Now I have three modes, but i have new problem: after deleting the cookies connected to bing, i can't login. When i try to login a get:
    It's not you, it's us

    Bing isn't available right now, but everything should be back to normal very soon.

    After a little googling I found out that I'm not the only one having problems with bing today: Microsoft outage takes down Bing, DuckDuckGo and ChatGPT | Tech News | Metro News, so if that is more important to some of you at this moment (to stay logged in), don't follow this steps.

    Edit:
    Now, "somehow magically", after refreshing the Copilot page in order to start new conversation, i was logged in.
