The More Creative and More Precise Modes Disappeared on my Copilot Homepage.

While utilizing Copilot as usual to assist with daily coding tasks, the more creative and more precise modes disappeared suddenly after I refreshed Microsoft Edge. This issue also occurred with the Copilot button on my Windows. Both modes vanished, leaving me with only the balanced mode to generate responses each day. Unfortunately, I find this mode less comfortable for my coding needs.

I have attempted to restart the system, clear the Copilot website cache in Microsoft Edge, and double-check my Windows 11 file system, but the problem persists. I am now seeking guidance on how to resolve this issue and restore the missing modes.

And if that doesn’t work, try creating a personal account that isn’t school-related. I used my apple account from iPhone and it worked.

Go to https://www.bing.com/account/general and ensure the Country/Region is set to United States.

The modes should appear once you restart Edge. Refresh Co-Pilot as well.

    Only one problem. This:

”Look Like I can’t response to this topic. Explore Bing Search.”

I finally sign it and got creative back, but this line irritate me. It is almost as if it is not as smart it used to be. This thing is that Microsoft found this thing to chat about topics, research and even hypothetically make election polls for fun, but this line is too irritating.

    (Edited): Should be quoting.

After that CrowdStrike incident, I seemed to be logged out of everything. It asked if I wanted to link my work and personal accounts again which I did. I don't remember if the options were there at this point.

Then after finding the options were gone, rather than go into settings as suggested by others, I opened a new tab and clicked the copilot icon, and checked my account at the top to find it was using my personal account rather than work account. After switching to the work account, I have the options back along with the 8000 character limit
