Sometimes, Edge, rather than directing me to the URL or file I want to access, will produce a site named "ShellPage" from the url edgeservices.bing.com that says "just a moment".

We released version 112.0.1722.58 today, which addresses this issue for Family Safety users. To ensure that you have the latest version, you can manually check for updates by following the steps below.

  1. Click on the three dots menu button.
  2. Go to Help and feedback.
  3. Click on About Microsoft Edge.

    yeah when i click my "youtube" (bookmark) it opens it up, pls tell me how to get rid of it!

    Yeah same here this shell page thing is really annoying but apparently its a secure website -_-

    I inspected the page, and, in the code, it says, "Custom Edge Services XMLHttpRequest" So basically this is a fake website which steals your Ip and other information acting as a Microsoft edge service?!
