Sometimes, Edge, rather than directing me to the URL or file I want to access, will produce a site named "ShellPage" from the url edgeservices.bing.com that says "just a moment".

We released version 112.0.1722.58 today, which addresses this issue for Family Safety users. To ensure that you have the latest version, you can manually check for updates by following the steps below.

  1. Click on the three dots menu button.
  2. Go to Help and feedback.
  3. Click on About Microsoft Edge.

    Every time I open Edge it opens the ShellPage tab where it loads nothing. This is very annoying and I would like you developers to remove it. The ShellPage is a serious problem because it not only starts when I open the browser, but also when I put the pc in sleep mode and the page where I was working becomes the ShellPage. Fix this bug plz.

    For me, it just shows a blank white page with the Bing logo and under that it says "Just a moment..." and under the text is a blank grey thin bar stretching about 3 inches from the screen left to right and shows it on every website regardless of if it's safe or not; it also never does anything after "Just a moment..."
