Sometimes, Edge, rather than directing me to the URL or file I want to access, will produce a site named "ShellPage" from the url edgeservices.bing.com that says "just a moment".

We released version 112.0.1722.58 today, which addresses this issue for Family Safety users. To ensure that you have the latest version, you can manually check for updates by following the steps below.

  1. Click on the three dots menu button.
  2. Go to Help and feedback.
  3. Click on About Microsoft Edge.

    It's really website independent. Happen upon opening Edge. I can usually open a new tab and it works but even there occasionally it will suddenly decide to give the same error sometimes in the middle of what I'm doing.

    For me, it doesn't matter what website I am on. I was on my school's website and it redirected me to Shellpage. It did the same when I went to YouTube. It is very annoying and makes my experience very unlikeable.

    It starts when I click on the edge browser when I use the select new tabs settings.

    Hi everyone,

    I would like additional information if you are still experiencing this issue. What websites are you trying to visit? Are you trying to use the Discover/B icon Sidebar to access Bing Chat and seeing this issue?
