Sometimes, Edge, rather than directing me to the URL or file I want to access, will produce a site named "ShellPage" from the url edgeservices.bing.com that says "just a moment".

We released version 112.0.1722.58 today, which addresses this issue for Family Safety users. To ensure that you have the latest version, you can manually check for updates by following the steps below.

  1. Click on the three dots menu button.
  2. Go to Help and feedback.
  3. Click on About Microsoft Edge.

    I absolutely HATE this. I'm just looking at my newsfeed but it redirects to this "ShellPage". I don't like it, I say! It loads forEVER.

    I have same problem, after updating edge to 112.0.1722.39 version.

    As soon as I launch Edge, it redirects to Shellpage.

    This issue is only reproduced on the child account of Family Safety. Parent account has no problem.

    yeah when i click my "youtube" (bookmark) it opens it up, pls tell me how to get rid of it!

    Just started happening when my system auto updated yesterday. It happens each time Edge starts and occasionally when I click on a link in Outlook.
