Edge is sharing Chrome site logins. How do I prevent this?

In order to quickly and accurately determine the crux of the problem, I would like to confirm some details: you want to use Edge and Chrome to log in to two different accounts on the same website, but now they will sync your login information, causing your inconvenience.

If my understanding is wrong, please correct me in the reply.

Then I suggest that you can try to find the crux of the problem by doing the following:

1. Please update Edge to the latest (enter "edge://settings/help" in the address bar, then select Update Edge to the latest);
2. Clear Edge's browser cache (Note!!! This will clear your browser's browsing history, saved passwords and other personal information, so please operate with caution!!! First sync the current status to your account, then log out , enter "edge://settings/clearBrowserData" in the address bar, select only "cookies and other site data", "Passwords", and then click "Clear Now" and restart the browser.

You can perform the above two operations on Chrome (but due to product differences, please operate with caution), and then it is recommended that you restart the computer to achieve the purpose of thorough cleaning.

After restarting, you can try to log in to different accounts in the two browsers, if the previous problem still occurs, please check the system version ( (you can display it by pressing the win key + R key, and entering "winver", then press Enter) , and only send the relevant information to me in the next reply, so as to solve the problem faster and better.

So, it looks like your data was imported from Chrome to Edge, have you tried to remove the data manually while signed into only one Device, by going to the pages: edge://settings/passwords and edge://settings/personalinfo in Edge and removing the credentials?

It's more than passwords being shared, the actual sessions are being shared. So if I log in in Chrome, I'm then already logged in in Edge.
