Hello,
I have a site where I have two accounts. I used to be able to have one of them logged in with Edge and one with Chrome, then by running the right browser, I could be logged in with the right profile.
Now, Edge seems to have started copying the login across from Chrome, i.e. I can't separate them. Logging in on Chrome logs in with the same credentials on Edge which isn't what I want.
How do I turn this off so that each browser can log in with different credentials and stay logged in with those credentials? I've found lots of stuff about syncing my MS account across devices, but this is on one single device and two browsers that I want to be completely unrelated.

I too have ran across this seems that some facebook messenger ap caused it all
They wanted to merge all my facebook acounts into one then say they cant delete it its permanent.
Hey this is not impossible this is happening . Just in my case . I Just installed win 10 and used edge to download chrome . after that i started using chrome. But one i opened edge then found that google account is already logged in in edge . which i have done in chrome . I saw that edge has also have all my bookmark everything .
Then i thought to signout my account from edge . But when i have done so my chrome browser session also got logged out .
This might because both are chromium and both are using same appdata folder to save their configuration file in backend . But i think this need to be addressed .

I just tried this. Hoping it works. I am using Youtube using one acc on Chrome and then another different acc on Edge. A lot of open tabs on both browsers. Even after I completely removed Chrome Youtube Acc from Edge, it still showed up when I opened it again. Thanks a lot. This should be marked as the right answer to this question.
I'm going through the same thing. It's frustrating. I use Edge as my primary and Chrome as secondary browser. All the accounts I log into on Chrome get transferred to Edge shortly after, and the accounts that are in Edge get logged out and replaced with the same ones from Chrome. It doesn't make sense for them to do this. It's a security flaw because it's logging into the accounts without even asking for my permission.
