Netflix error on Edge Chromium

I am discouraged that this problem has not been fixed after several months. I am a long-time a Netflix subscriber. Since I upgraded a few months ago to the new Edge Chromium browser, Netflix always returns error code D7353-5101. Refreshing the browser screen always allows Netflix to play normally. Even so, it is a damned nuisance. Netflix support says that Netflix does not support the Edge chromium browser, and  recommends using Google Chrome or Firefox browsers. It would seem to me that not supporting a widely used service such as Netflix would be a very big negative that Microsoft would want to fix. Yet... months go by and no fix.

Before anyone asks, I do not use third party AV. Windows has been updated since the problem appeared, and is up-to-date.

Update - the 5C release is KB5003214. This has an additional fix for the signing issue that caused the symptom investigated here.

Thanks

Arvind

The update that I referred to is not part of that KB. Please watch for another one towards end of March.

    Thanks

    Arvind

Arvind, Why should I have confidence in your assurance, considering this answer that I received from Edge Feedback last November 2020?

I'll deserve your trust only if/after the late March update resolves your issue. We were able to reproduce and debug that particular symptom and test a fix, but until it works for you it doesn't mean anything to you.

Thanks for your assessment of the feedback system. We'll keep improving it.

    Thanks

    Arvind

OK Arvind. I am looking forward to the late March update to fix Netflix.

In the meantime, I would like to enlist your expertise to resolve another problem for which I have started a separate thread in the Microsoft Community. No one has posted any recommendations. Perhaps you would be able to help.  Here is the link
