I am discouraged that this problem has not been fixed after several months. I am a long-time a Netflix subscriber. Since I upgraded a few months ago to the new Edge Chromium browser, Netflix always returns error code D7353-5101. Refreshing the browser screen always allows Netflix to play normally. Even so, it is a damned nuisance. Netflix support says that Netflix does not support the Edge chromium browser, and recommends using Google Chrome or Firefox browsers. It would seem to me that not supporting a widely used service such as Netflix would be a very big negative that Microsoft would want to fix. Yet... months go by and no fix.
Before anyone asks, I do not use third party AV. Windows has been updated since the problem appeared, and is up-to-date.

Update - the 5C release is KB5003214. This has an additional fix for the signing issue that caused the symptom investigated here.

Thanks Caio, but before I go ahead and change my Edge browser settings, please elaborate on the issue that you see involved, and why you think this change would help. I searched DRM on the internet and discovered that it stands for Digital Rights Management. I also found that Netflix uses widevine DRM, as does Google Chrome and Firefox. Since Chrome and Firefox both are supported by Netflix, why would it make sense to disable widevine DRM in Edge? I am trying to be logical. Please explain.
It would make sense to disable Widevine DRM on Edge because Netflix doesn't share to public how their website interacts with this API, I mean the paths, events and protocols, so some extension or feature built-in the browser can causing this malfunctioning. But it's known that Netflix uses PlayReady DRM (, speciallly when playing 1080p and 4K media.

So disabling one that can be corrupted and enabling another one that is functional can solve this problem you reported.
Also, if you have extensions on Edge try disabling them and keeping Widevine enabled to check if it is the reason of this problem.
