Netflix error on Edge Chromium

I am discouraged that this problem has not been fixed after several months. I am a long-time a Netflix subscriber. Since I upgraded a few months ago to the new Edge Chromium browser, Netflix always returns error code D7353-5101. Refreshing the browser screen always allows Netflix to play normally. Even so, it is a damned nuisance. Netflix support says that Netflix does not support the Edge chromium browser, and  recommends using Google Chrome or Firefox browsers. It would seem to me that not supporting a widely used service such as Netflix would be a very big negative that Microsoft would want to fix. Yet... months go by and no fix.

Before anyone asks, I do not use third party AV. Windows has been updated since the problem appeared, and is up-to-date.

Update - the 5C release is KB5003214. This has an additional fix for the signing issue that caused the symptom investigated here.

    Edge browser has updated again. This time to Version 87.0.664.75 and still the promised fix to the Netflix error message has not happened.

    No no, listen.

    You have an app called "Microsoft store"

    It's basically like the google play store for windows.

    It allows you to install apps onto your laptop.

    You will find the netflix application for windows on the microsoft store.

    No need to be unpleasant. Microsoft replied that it would be fixed in an upcoming update. It wasn't. Edge updates seem to be very rare and the last one was a few weeks ago. I have no idea what this Microsoft store would have to do with a subscription service such as Netflix. Firefox does not give Netflix error messages. I would think Microsoft would strive to compete with Mozilla on such a heavily subscribed service as Netflix.

    Bruh, what part of upcoming update don't you understand?

    It doesn't necessarily mean, the next upcoming update.

    If they've informed you that it will be rectified, it will be rectified. Wait for it, or switch to another browser if you can't, and lose out all the good features here.

    Also, you didn't answer Sumit's question.

    Is there any reason you aren't using the netflix application from the Microsoft store?

    Note : No one here works for Microsoft.
