Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I am discouraged that this problem has not been fixed after several months. I am a long-time a Netflix subscriber. Since I upgraded a few months ago to the new Edge Chromium browser, Netflix always returns error code D7353-5101. Refreshing the browser screen always allows Netflix to play normally. Even so, it is a damned nuisance. Netflix support says that Netflix does not support the Edge chromium browser, and recommends using Google Chrome or Firefox browsers. It would seem to me that not supporting a widely used service such as Netflix would be a very big negative that Microsoft would want to fix. Yet... months go by and no fix.
Before anyone asks, I do not use third party AV. Windows has been updated since the problem appeared, and is up-to-date.

Update - the 5C release is KB5003214. This has an additional fix for the signing issue that caused the symptom investigated here.
Thanks

I don't want to install another program. Netflix works just fine on Firefox. I can't believe that Microsoft doesn't care about customers leaving Edge to watch Netflix on another browser.
Well, you should know how to work with shortcomings and disadvantages, and those are alternatives.
The netflix application provides you with features and experience that you cannot experience on the website. Which is why I suggested you to download it.
It's not that microsoft does not care about customers, and those are not lies. It's just that they've been trying, and inspite of that, the error hasn't been rectified due to some unforseen circumstances.
But if you refuse to download the netflix app, and come back to the same point again and again, well, all the best using the netflix website.
Note : I am not trying to be unpleasant, I am just disappointed by your lack of effort in even trying to install the netflix application.
ps : co-operation is the key, my friend.
Have a good day
It sometimes so happens that the same symptom (like the specific Netflix error code) can be caused by different underlying root causes. Unfortunately this has been one of those cases. The extra detail you provided here has helped the engineering team.
Appreciate your comments on the feedback system - I'll pass those along as well.
Thanks

Just so you know. Today I received my third email over the last three months from Edge Feedback Support saying that the problem has already been fixed in the next update. The first email on November 2 was from Edge Feedback Team1. I received the second email on November 11 from Edge Feedback Team 2, and today's third email was from Edge Feedback Team 3. All three email over the three months said, "We want to let you know that we fixed an issue that's related to this feedback in an upcoming update to Microsoft Edge. "
There have been multiple updates during these three months. I am tired of the lies!
Thanks for the information, this helps narrow this down to a bug that our engineers are investigating a fix for. I'm working to speed this up.
Thanks
Arvind
