Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I am discouraged that this problem has not been fixed after several months. I am a long-time a Netflix subscriber. Since I upgraded a few months ago to the new Edge Chromium browser, Netflix always returns error code D7353-5101. Refreshing the browser screen always allows Netflix to play normally. Even so, it is a damned nuisance. Netflix support says that Netflix does not support the Edge chromium browser, and recommends using Google Chrome or Firefox browsers. It would seem to me that not supporting a widely used service such as Netflix would be a very big negative that Microsoft would want to fix. Yet... months go by and no fix.
Before anyone asks, I do not use third party AV. Windows has been updated since the problem appeared, and is up-to-date.

Update - the 5C release is KB5003214. This has an additional fix for the signing issue that caused the symptom investigated here.
Thanks
Arvind
The update that I referred to is not part of that KB. Please watch for another one towards end of March.
Thanks
Arvind
Arvind M said on Feb 19, "The fix is being scheduled for broad distribution through a Windows Update (not an Edge update), by end of March." The March Cumulative updates have come and gone.
The March cumulative update for Windows 10 version 20H2 for x86-based systems KB5000802 was installed on my computer on March 11. This March update did not fix the Netflix Error Code as you stated in your February 19 post on this thread. I am unable for some unknown reason to unmark you post as the answer even though this is my thread. I am respectfully asking you to unmark your post as the answer, since the March updates did not fix the problem with Netflix.
Sorry for the delay in resolving this.
The fix is being scheduled for broad distribution through a Windows Update (not an Edge update), by end of March.
Please look for KB5000842 in Windows Update - this will require a Windows reboot to take effect.
Thanks
Arvind
To Arvind M Edge Microsoft employee,
In January you took all my detailed information and said that your staff would get to the bottom of the problem. Ever since I upgraded to Edge Chromium in October, five months ago, this problem has gone unresolved. Netflix works well in Chrome and Firefox, but it will not work in Edge chromium. Why doesn't Microsoft give a damn about their Edge browser?? This is sheer stupidity. Microsoft can say goodbye to its Edge customer base. Netflix said to me last October that the failure of Edge to work with Netflix was a well known problem that Microsoft had told them they were trying to fix. Four times I have received emails from Edge support saying that my issue had been resolved. BALONEY!
