Microsoft's Surface RT swindle. Microsoft promoted RT as more secure. Mictosoft RT blocks neccesary software. Microsoft doesnt allow Firefox or Chrome. Microsoft changed the address of the Windows store to block Surface RT users from software. Microsoft Skydrive Onedrive apart from trying to extort users for paid Onedrive. Microsoft made Onedrive free for Surface RT users. Microsoft trapped Surface RT users and reduced the Onedrive size to force us to buy Onedrive which was free as part of the Surface RT offer.
Don't get me started on Windows Mobile. Microsoft repeatedly screwed mobile phone users. Microsoft abandoned mobile phone users no less than four times. Microsoft conduct was the cause of their losses in the mobile phone market. Microsoft bought Nokia and wrecked Nokia. Microsoft gained nothing from wrecking Nokia. Four Microsoff phones later from Windows Mobile to Windows 10 Mobile any Microsoft phone is bad news
Microsoft is not the reliable honorable innovator company they pretend to be in their advertising.
How much would it cost for microsoft to make Edge available on RT?
I concur with all posts supporting a Microsoft Edge browser for the Windows 8.1 RT O/S. Better yet give us an upgrade path to Windows 10 on ARM O/S. Another option Microsoft can give to their loyal Microsoft Surface RT users is give us a just trade-in value to upgrade for one of the newer Surface tablets. I am one of those early adopters that purchased three (3) Surface RT tablets for my family of five (5) back in 2012/2013. Microsoft should reward our loyalty and support
I think we have gotten our answer by now.
I wish there was more that the average consumers could do to get back at these big corporations for their greedy decisions and lack of pride for their products.
