Sadly, Microsoft Edge will not run on Windows RT, and as far as I am aware there are no plans to make this possible. Support for the operating system ended more than three years ago.

Well, it's been 9 months, and no good news for us RT users.  I find my ASUS a very convenient tool, though not my primary computer.  I can only share everyone's disappointment, but I'm not surprised.  When has Microsoft ever had any loyalty to its users?

    Hi MehmetBaserdem,

The new Microsoft Edge (Chromium based) is NOT compatible for Windows RT 8.1 because it is installed independently by downloading it from a web browser (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge) and not from the Microsoft Store App.

As soon as an RT version becomes available to download from the Microsoft Store App, that is the only time you can download it to an RT 8.1 device but as of now, there is no news about that.

    Sincerely,

    Lee

I think microsoft still need to learn to be humanitarian than focusing on several selfish ambitions.

Microsoft, are you such arrogant ****'s that you would not listen to multiple customers asking for you to support your device? Most companies are spending money looking for customers and you are actively ignoring yours. These are people, not shopping, but trying to buy and you won't do anything? These are people who have invested in your previous success and you are turning your back on them because you're successful? You have made money so you'll move on? Look around at the landscape of big companies that no longer exist and you will be one of them if you treat your customers this way. Shame on you.
