how to stop edge from being managed by an organization I don't have? Just recently starting doing this...

    So, I just had this problem and what worked for me was this:

    Open run and type "regedit".

    From there, scroll down until you see "Policies"

    Then, select which browser your having problems with, (i.e. google, chrome) and delete the ExtenstionInstallForcelist

    Open your files, click This PC and click on your main drive.

    From here, enable hidden items from the view drop down, open windows file and search for "System32"

    Look for these two folders and DELETE: GroupPolicy and GroupPolicyUsers

    After that, open command prompt and type in "gpupdate /force"

    This updates your computer policy.

    Finally, restart PC and you should be back to your original browser with no "managed by organization"
