Can you download Edge Browser to a Chromebook? And if yes, how? I really appreciate your help. :-)

You can run Android apps on Chromebook so I believe you can run Microsoft Edge..

The experience would not be same as desktop, though.

    I hope soon the Linux version will be ready and can be loaded onto ChromeOS devices hat support Linux (Beta), then you will have a browser with a full Edge experience.

    I sort of agree and disagree with your answer.  What we are experiencing (since 60% of the world now operates on Chrome OS) is a migration as we did from DVD rentals to Netflix.  I run productions in Indonesia and ONLY allow Chrome OS devices in the factory.  Why?  Because it forces the employees to load 100% online and to not offline or locally store anything.  Further they are using Office365 and Sharepoint both in the cloud so there is no reason to give them a $2K Apple or Windows box.  I can buy used HP Chromebook 13 UHD+ with 16G RAM i7 8th Gen on eBay for less than $200 each.  So for the price of a new Macbook I can outfit 6-10 employees with a fully functional Chrome computer that has a display better than retina, supports 2 4K monitors, has 3 USB-C ports, and doesn't cost me anything if it gets trashed.

    I do agree that in the USA the majority of Chromebooks are used by students. I suspect internationally Chromebooks will serve a much more useful purpose, especially in 3rd world countries.

    I am going to petition Microsoft Business why there is no Chrome Edge interface. It seems rather silly to not have Edge for Chrome OS since their entire goal is to get everyone in the cloud.
