Thank you for your reply. I solved the problem! Have a good and safe week.
Thaks for all. All is OK.
I have the same question do not like the new version at all!
Searching for "Windows 10 App Remover" may help remove Edge Chromium? TBC.
You should end up with two files in a folder, the exe itself and a file named "System.Management.Automation.dll".
( It's just that I remember someone else saying that they were going to do a System Restore!)
I haven't installed Edge Chromium yet but have done the suggested Registry tweak for
co-existence.
Before I do install it, could anyone confirm that if I Export my Favorites from Edge Legacy,
that I'll be able to Import them to Edge Chromium?
Thanks.
Y'all can refer to this. I had the same doubts and got some amazing answers....
Good Link, Rose.
The Tenforums article should answer most peoples queries about co-existence of Edge Chromium and Edge Legacy.
I was trying to help people that were unable to uninstall Edge owing to the option being greyed-out, and prevent them from using the crowbar-technique of doing a System Restore! <grin>
Not everyone is comfortable using the command-line Get-AppXPackage for uninstalling Apps, hence my suggestion of using the "Windows 10 App Remover".
It's straight forward to use, there's no command line or complicated procedures to follow, you just choose the App and uninstall it. This can be done on a per-user or device basis.
Kind regards.
