I installed the new Secure Edge browser. Big mistake. How can I go back to the old one?

Correct use Revo Uninstaller. Then hide the new edge update with the 'hide updates' program. You ask why would MS do it. Cause they can and I guess they think the new version is better, which it is not. As many have pointed out.

no it doesn't help, not even in the slightest. in fact it is a rather moronic response to someone who is reporting lags / lockups with the newer "better, faster, more secure" product.
You are exactly right. I hate the Edge Chromium. I use drop down boxes and the new Edge is just a mess with these. The X in the drop down box that I use to to delete the entry is gone. When I use a calendar drop down box, a list of the previous date entries drops down over the calendar and I cannot select the new date! This is why I used Edge and not Chrome.

It's a mess. I actually had to reset my pc the first time to get everything back and back in working order. Luckily someone told me about Revo Uninstaller the second time it was installed and I got rid of it without messing with all my programs. The favorite list was a mess, too. Every time I clicked on something, it would close and go back to the top of the list, and the gray scroll bar was gone so it had to auto-scroll to the bottom, which took forever. I wish they would let us know what they are updating so we could accept or deny what we want and don't want. I'd like to go back to Foxfire, but I can't get my favorite list to import there.
