I installed the new Secure Edge browser. Big mistake. How can I go back to the old one?

Thank you for your replies. I will try that when it happens again. I temporarily installed Firefox.

Run the hide update troubleshooting tool when the update shows up again. Hide it and it wont show up again

How do I get the good updates if I hide updates?  They don't tell you what's in the updates.

Install the Revo Uninstaller and uninstall the new Edge. Then you'll have to search for the little e Edge in apps and downloads and reinstall it.

It happened to me twice now. They put the new Edge in an unspecified update, so you can't say no.It really messed my pc up, and I had to reset everything.  I was told to install Revo Uninstaller and I did and got rid of the new Edge. It wasn't too difficult--just follow the instructions. Then you have to search apps and downloads for the little e Edge and reinstall it. But there's no way to keep the next update from giving the new one back. I got an answer to use the "hide updates" feature before the next update, but then you won't get the good updates you need. If you go to the top right corner of the screen and find the 3 dots, click on them and go to feedback. Let Microsoft how know your opinion of the new Edge. Maybe if enough of us contact them, they'll quit .
