I installed the new Secure Edge browser. Big mistake. How can I go back to the old one?

There does not appear to be any way to uninstall Edge (invasive piece of garbage) after the May 2020 update so I just went into its settings and denied everything and blocked its access to the internet via my firewall.
I use my my Linux machine for serious work - windows is just for games.

I thought my favorites were gone too except for the Favorites Bar. It turns out that at the right-hand edge of the Favorites Bar is a file folder labeled "Other Favorites." That's where all of my other favorites are stored. You can also get to it by clicking on the Favorites icon (star with 3 lines), scroll down to the bottom of the list, then click on Other Favorites. It's easier to use the Favorites Bar method.
I had the same issue. Update was forced and ALL Favorites are gone and Uninstall option is grayed out. Nice job MS removing important information without notice!
