Edge keeps crashing in Windows 11. I have already tried quite a few troubleshooting steps suggested here and it's still not fixed. The last suggestion I received before reinstalling Windows is to reinstall Edge. (Not repair/reinstall from the Add/Remove Programs menu, I've already tried that). I did this but it doesn't look like it worked. When I opened Edge after the reinstall all my tabs re-opened and I just don't think the reinstall worked correctly. Is there a way to uninstall Edge completely and then reinstall it? The option is grayed out in the Remove programs menu.

I followed his instructions too. It wouldn't uninstall. It's my understanding that it won't uninstall because Windows actually uses Edge as a GUI for several apps within the OS. I can understand that.
What I can't deal with is how Microsoft charged me for Windows and then keeps changing my software/app choices simply so they can then make money off of my personal info...without my express permission. That's the part that's illegal and actionable in a court of law. I'm really serious about wishing there was a class action I could join to force them to stop trying to putt their corporate johnson in my rectum.
Actually, if you've paid attention to the issue at all, Microsoft has been trying to force us to use Edge. That's what my complaint is about and why I want to remove Edge. I get that they're using Edge as a GUI manager for many of the internal Windows apps, etc. What I'm having an issue with is, like you said, they didn't/don't have to use Edge for that purpose exclusively. Most importantly to me, though, is that Microsoft keeps hijacking my Chrome settings and tabs then importing them into Edge...AND THEY KEEP REMOVING CHROME AS DEFAULT BROWSER AND CHANGING THAT TO EDGE.
I paid my $200 for Windows. They got their damned money. They have no business changing MY settings every damned time they do any kind of update to any related apps. I could understand if they were actually giving Windows out freely, no charge. I'm not okay with Redmond continually pushing the limits in order to double dip.
